Guatemala Huehuetenango Santa Cruz Barillas

This coffee is grown on farms owned and operated by women producers located in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala.

They are part of the ASOBAGRI co-op, which was founded in 1989 by 20 K'anjob'al Mayan coffee and cardamon farmers. 

ASOBAGRI is incredibly diverse, representing 67 different Mayan communities across the northwesternmost departments of Guatemala, El Quiché and Huehuetenango. Members in parts of these departments speak indigenous languages including Q’anjob‘al, Chuj, Acateco, Mam, and Ixil.
